You always hear the same albums when talking about the great live albums of all time. Allmans Fillmore, Live at Leeds, Ya Yas, UFO Srangers, Foghat Live, etc. This Johnny never gets mentioned and that is a crime, cause this is just one mother of a smokin live set. Johnny and Floyd are on fire and the energy is insane. One of the unheralded greats that deserves to be in the ranks of the elite! This is Johnny Winter’s best album if you like rock and roll. Most of his other stuff is pretty bluesy. Highway 61 is the best cut on the album. The other guitarist Floyd Radford is very good and holds his own against the master. The only thing preventing me from giving it 5 stars is the sound quality. It’s pretty thin and weak.
