Johann Strauss son (Johann Strauss Sohn; was born on October 25, 1825 in Vienna, Austria — left on June 3, 1899) — the most famous Austrian composer, the conductor and the violinist, the recognized "king of the waltz", the author of numerous dancing works and several popular operettas.
Mikhail Semyonovich Vetrov (was born on November 14, 1908 in Tver — left on January 19, 1970 in Leningrad) — the outstanding Soviet trumpeter and the musical teacher, professor of the Leningrad conservatory, the soloist of Big symphonic orchestra of All-Union radio and Central television, the winner of the international competition. In 1930 graduated from the Moscow conservatory on Mikhail Adamovs class. Played over 15 years in symphonic orchestras of Moscow and Leningrad and also in variety orchestra of RSFSR under control of Leonid Utyosov. Since 1945 taught in the Leningrad conservatory. In 1951 to it the rank of the associate professor, in 1967 — professors is given. Among Vetrovs pupils there are soloists of the Leningrad philharmonic hall honored artists of Russia Veniamin Margolin and Yury Bolshiyanov, the soloist of orchestra of opera and ballet theater of Kirov Vladimir Serdyuk.
