plate "is Sung by Vadim Mulerman" – 1971
Vadim Mulerman (a real name Vladimir Iosifovich Mullerman, was born on August 18, 1938 in Kharkiv — left on May 2, 2018 in New York) — the famous Soviet crooner (baritone). The honored artist of RSFSR (1978), the Honored artist of Ukraine <(2007).br> In the 1960th years — the popular crooner in the USSR. The first performer of songs "Lada", "Coward Does Not Play Hockey", "Kak It Is Good to Be the General", "Gutsulochka", "Dreamed Me", "Avgust".
Studied at vocal office of the Kharkiv conservatory, subsequently — in Leningrad.
Debuted on a platform in 1963 in Kharkiv, then worked with Murad Kazhlayev, Leonid Utyosov, Anatoly Kroll, Yury Saulskys orchestras, in Moskontsert and Roskontsert. The popularity to Vadim Mulerman came in 1966: became the winner of the All-Union competition of performers with the Lame King song. Because of the ideological censorship which saw in the song a hint on the political leadership of the Soviet Union it was necessary to exclude the last couplet from a song and to change the name on "Winner King". In 1968 the Lada song became the main hit of year. Pesnya was so popular that many girls who were born this year received this name. Subsequently even the export option of the Zhiguli car was called "Lada".
By the end of the 1960th years Mulerman became one of the most recognizable performers of a lyrical and civil Soviet song.
In 1971 according to the decision of the chairman of the State committee of Council of ministers of the USSR on television and S.G. Lapins broadcasting, Mulerman was discharged of air, to it the concert activity was also banned. Inclusion by Mulerman in the repertoire of several Jewish songs against the background of political opposition of the USSR and Israel and also some unpleasant moments of creative activity of the singer connected with "in the doubtful ways of distribution of tickets and the organizations of concerts" was the cause of conflict. Subsequently, thanks to assistance of the Minister of Culture of the USSR E.A. Furtseva, concert performances were again allowed Mulerman, however access to TV and to an air telerecording did not manage to be returned. And soundtracks of his performances were withdrawn and, apparently, are destroyed.
Mulerman had to sing the song to the television movie "Seventeen Moments of Spring". The director Tatyana Lioznova asked it to sing not by the "voice", and to adapt to Tikhonov. The actor coped with this task brilliantly. But at that time scandal over its "Jewish" repertoire burst. As a result the song in "Seventeen moments" was sung by the old rival of Mulerman on a scene — Joseph Kobzon. After that singers never acted in one concert.
