plate Pesniary II Alesya – 1974
Pesniary of II (sometimes the album is called Alesya) — the second studio album legendary Soviet the folk-rock of the Pesniary group released by Melodiya in February, 1974.
took part In record: Vladimir Mulyavin, Vladislav Misevich, Leonid Bortkevich, Valentin Badyarov, Anatoly Kasheparov, Victor-Czeslaw Poplavsky, Vladimir Nikolaev, Anatoly Gilevich, Leonid Tyshko and Alexander Demeshko. Except for 2 songs, all compositions which entered an album registered in breaks between tours at studios of Melodiya during the period from 1971 to 1973. Pesnya of Zavushn_tsa and "Ruzhy Colour" were written down in 1973 on the Prague radio when "Pesniary" went to Czechoslovakia to an industrial exhibition of the USSR where the collective was presented in the cultural program. The musical observer Dmitry Bezkorovayny sees similarity between composition "The boy to a pashank plowing" and creativity of the Jethro Tull group, and "Ruzhy color" "with prompt psychodelic solo keyboard and guitars" as the critic notes, has similarity to music of group "Emerson, Lake & Palmer". According to the musical critic Dmitry Podberezsky, in comparison with a debut plate of group," "Pesniary" show richer, broad sounding, in many respects here thanks to the fact that new tools, including string were added". Also according to Podberezsky, composition "Ruzhi color" does not correspond to sugary stylistics of domestic VIA in any way".
