Hexitex pessaries of 16 mg No. 10

Pessaries of "Hexitex" are applied as

• Prevention of venereal diseases (syphilis, gonorrhea, trichomoniasis, clamidiosis, ureaplasmosis) and infectious and inflammatory complications in obstetrics and gynecology (before operational treatment of gynecologic diseases, before childbirth and abortion, before and after installation of an intrauterine spiral, before and after diathermocoagulation of a neck of the uterus, before internally uterine researches).
• Treatment of a bacterial vaginosis, colpitis, erosion of a neck of the uterus.

Structure

Active ingredient: chlorhexidin.

1 pessary supports a chlorhexidin of the biglyukonat (20% solution) 85.2 mg, in terms of a chlorhexidin biglyukonat 16 mg.

Excipient: polyethylene oxide.

Contraindication

Individual hypersensitivity to medicine components.

Route of administration

to use Drug intravaginalno. Before application to exempt a pessary from planimetric packing.

Treatment: to apply on 1 pessary 2 times a day within 7-10 days depending on the nature of a disease. Extension of a course of treatment up to 20 days is in case of need possible.

Prevention of venereal diseases: to apply once on 1 pessary not later than in 2 hours after sexual intercourse.

Pregnancy. Considering the degree of manifestation of infectious process, data of bacteriological researches, the phenomena of threat of termination of pregnancy medicine to apply on 1 pessary 1 or 2 times a day as monotherapy or as a part of complex therapy. Application duration - from 5 to 10 days.

Side effects

allergic reactions, including the naggers, burning and irritation in the injection site of a pessary.

Interaction

Chlorhexidin cannot be applied together with detergents which contain anion group (saponins, sodium lauryl sulfate, sodium carboxymethylcellulose) and also with soap. Presence of soap can inactivate chlorhexidin therefore before use of medicine residues of soap need to be washed away carefully. The toilet of external genitals does not affect efficiency and shipping of pessaries of Hexitex, medicament is used intravaginalno. Simultaneous application with iodine is not recommended.
