Shiitake — the most cultivated mushroom in the world. Except the medical purposes, it is widely used in cookery. In east kitchen there is a huge number of recipes of soups, sauces, seasonings and drinks from a shiitaka. It is documentary known that governors of the Ming dynasty accepted broth from a shiitaka to prolong youth and to recover from diseases. Pulp to a shiitaka is rich with nutrients, it contains 18 amino acids among which 8 are irreplaceable. It possesses powerful immunopromoting effect, antibacterial and antiviral activity.
