In average therapeutic doses, does not promote fast fatigue in the course of performance of operator activity.

At alcoholics during therapeutic remission in the first days of use of medicament are noted by soft tranquilizing and anxiolytic effects, the expressiveness of psychomotor excitement, alarm and irritability substantially decreased. Use of medicament at manifestations of an abstinence syndrome and for maintenance of remission at patients with an alcoholism is the most effective.

Pharmacokinetics. At oral administration to gidazepa it is quickly absorbed. After single dose the effect of medicament developed in 30–60 min., reaching a maximum for 1–4 h then its expressiveness gradually decreases.

At sublingual use to gidazepa it is quickly absorbed. After sublingual reception of a single dose the effect of medicament is shown in 5–15 min., reaching a maximum during 1–4 h with the subsequent gradual reduction.

in a liver, kidneys and fatty tissue. The bioavailability is rather high. It is shown that in blood plasma only the dezalkilirovanny metabolite is found, not changed medicament is not defined even in trace quantities.

Feature of pharmacokinetics of a gidazepam is the low speed of elimination of its main metabolite at single dose. The t _½ makes of blood plasma 86.7 h, clearance — 3.03 l/h, time of definition of concentration of medicament in blood — 127.32 h. Pharmacokinetic characteristics of a gidazepam give the chance to use it as tranquilizer with low risk of development of by-effects.

Indication

is Applied as day tranquilizer at neurotic, psychopathic asteniye, at the states which are followed by alarm, fear (including before surgical interventions and painful diagnostic inspections), acrimony, a sleep disorder and also at emotional lability. apply also to stopping of an abstinence syndrome in alcoholism and to maintenance therapy during remission in an alcoholism, in logoneuroses, migraine.

Use

is Accepted inside or sublingual (without chewing) 20–50 mg 3 times a day, if necessary gradually raising a dose to 200 mg/days before obtaining therapeutic effect.

Course dose of 100 mg/days is optimum. Appointment in higher daily doses (150–200 mg) can be followed by the increased day drowsiness, feeling of muscle weakness.

as day Gidazepam IC tranquilizer can be applied to treatment of states with asthenic, depressive, phobic and hypochondriac disorders in doses 60–120 mg/days

Average daily dose of medicament at treatment of patients with neurotic, neurosis-like, psychopathic, psychopathy-like states makes 60–200 mg; in migraine — 40–60 mg.

For stopping of alcoholic abstinency the initial dose makes 50 mg, an average daily dose — 150 mg. The maximum daily dose at alcoholic abstinency makes 500 mg.

Contraindication

Hypersensitivity to any of medicament components. expressed heavy myasthenia, considerable abnormal liver functions (cirrhosis, infectious disease) and kidneys.

Side effects

At use of a gidazepam in high doses or at the increased individual sensitivity at certain patients can note the phenomena characteristic of other tranquilizers of group of derivatives of benzodiazepine.

from nervous system: headache, drowsiness, slackness, reduction in the rate of reactions, decrease in attention and working capacity, general weakness, dizziness.

from a GIT: nausea.

from a musculoskeletal system: muscle weakness.

from skin: rash, itching, dermahemia, urticaria.

from the immune system: allergic reactions, including Quincke's disease.

Others: an ataxy (it was reported about an ataxy case at the patient, coincided using a gidazepam).

At emergence of side reactions a dose should lower or cancel administration of drug.

Special instructions

use of a gidazepam for persons with an open angle glaucoma, hpn and a chronic liver failure, alcoholic damage of a liver.

Drug contains lactose therefore patients should not appoint it with rare hereditary forms of intolerance of a galactose, deficiency of Lappa lactase or a syndrome of glyukozo-galaktozny malabsorption.

Period of pregnancy and feeding by a breast. It is not necessary to use medicament during the specified period.

Children. Use of medicament for children is contraindicated.

Influence on ability to run vehicles and to work with other mechanisms. For treatment it is necessary to abstain from the activity requiring special attention and speed of psychomotor reactions.
