Treatment has to continue not less than 4 days. If healing did not happen, it is possible to continue treatment up to 10 days. It is necessary to wash up hands before use of ointment and to avoid excessive friction or contact with a towel of affected areas to prevent aggravation or transmission of infection.

Contraindication

Side effects

Special instructions

should apply Ointment only to treatment of herpes on lips and a face. it is not recommended to apply ointment on mucous membranes of an oral cavity, an eye and to apply it to treatment of genital herpes. it is necessary to avoid accidental hit of ointment in eyes.

Person which suffer from especially heavy and repeating manifestations of Herpes labialis need consultation of the doctor. Lips sore with herpes it is necessary to warn against contact transfer of a virus to other people, especially in the presence of open defeats (for example, to wash hands before ointment use). It is not recommended to apply at patients with an immunodeficiency. Such persons need consultation of the doctor concerning treatment of any infection.
