"Gepatsef komb" apply powder for solution for injections to treatment of the infections caused by microorganisms, sensitive to drug:
- respiratory infection (upper and lower parts);
- an infection of urinary tract (upper and lower parts);
- peritonitis, cholecystitis, cholangitis and other infections of an abdominal cavity;
- septicaemia;
- meningitis;
- an infection of leather and soft tissues;
- an infection of bones and joints;
- inflammatory diseases of bodies of a small pelvis, endometritises, gonorrhea and other infections of genitals.
Structure
1 bottle contains (active ingredients) of sterile mix of a tsefoperazon of sodium salt and a sulbaktam of sodium salt (1:1), in terms of tsefoperazon - 1.0 g and to sulbakta - 1.0 g
toContraindication
to"Gepatsef of a komba" is contraindicated to patients with the known hypersensitivity to penicillin, a sulbaktam, a tsefoperazon or any cephalosporin.
Route of administration
"Gepatsef of a komba" (a combination of a sulbaktam of sodium / tsefoperazona sodium) is issued in bottles and is applied only parenterally.
Combination of a sulbaktam of sodium / tsefoperazona sodium is presented byin the form of dry powder for restoration in the ratio 1:1 in terms of free to sulbakta and tsefoperazon. Bottles with powder in the ratio 1:1 contain an equivalent of 1000 mg + 1000 mg of a sulbaktam and a tsefoperazon respectively.
Adult
Usual dose "Gepatsef of a komba" for adults makes 2-4 g a day (that is from 1st to 2 of a tsefoperazon a day) intravenously or intramusculary in evenly distributed doses each 12 hours.
In heavy or refractory infections a daily dose of the medicine "Gepatsef of a Komba" can be raised up to 8 (that is a dose of a tsefoperazon - 4 g) intravenously in evenly distributed doses each 12 hours. The recommended maximum daily dose of a sulbaktam makes 4 g (8 g of the medicine "Gepatsef of a Komba").
Children
Usual dose of the medicine "Gepatsef of a Komba" for children makes from 40 to 80 mg/kg/days (that is 20-40 mg tsefoperazona/kg/sutki), evenly distributed on 2-4 doses.
In heavy or refractory infections this dose can be raised to 160 mg/kg/days (80 mg tsefoperazona/kg/sutki), having evenly divided it into 2-4 doses.
Newborn the 1st week of life should enter medicine each 12 hours. The maximum daily dose of a sulbaktam at children should not exceed 80 mg/kg/days (160 mg/kg/days of the medicine "Gepatsef of a Komba"). In cases when the dose of a tsefoperazon which exceeds 80 mg/kg/days is necessary, the additional dose of a tsefoperazon should be applied separately.

Interaction
Solutions of the medicine "Gepatsef of a Komba" and aminoglycosides should not be mixed directly as between them there is a physical incompatibility.
Primary cultivation by lactat Ringera solution is not recommended toas it is established that these substances are incompatible. However application of two-stage process of cultivation at which primary solvent is water for injections allows to avoid incompatibility at further cultivation by lactat Ringera solution.
