Pharmacokinetics. Intra intestinal absorption of medicament minimum owing to insolubility of Pyrantelum of the embonat. Use

Suspension. in an enterobiosis, an ascaridosis the average dose makes 10–12 mg/kg of body weight on 1 reception, that is:

At an ankilostomidoza in case of a heavy invasion or in endemic zones appoint in a dose 20 mg/kg of body weight a day in 1–2 receptions for 2–3 days, that is:

• children aged from 6 months — 2 measured spoons of suspension on 10 kg of body weight a day;
• adult with body weight to 75 kg — 12 measured spoons a day;
• 75 kg, adult with body weight — 16 measured spoons a day.

  Tablet. In an enterobiosis, an ascaridosis: to children at the age of 6–18 years — 1 tablet (125 mg) on 10 kg of body weight adult with body weight to 75 kg — 6 tablets on 125 mg or 3 tablets on 250 mg. Adults with body weight from 75 kg — 4 tablets on 250 mg.

  At an ankilostomidoza and a necatoriasis the same dosing or, at severe forms, on 20 mg/kg/days in 1 or 2 receptions for 2–3 days.

  Overdose

  anorexia, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, an ataxy, however in connection with the minimum quantities of Pyrantelum which is adsorbed Are possible

  , even at considerable overdose seldom there are symptoms of intoxication. gastric lavage owing to lack of specific antidote is recommended.

  Preventive measures: control of function of a respiratory and cardiovascular system.
