release of FUJIFILM X100V — new model in a line of cult compact digital cameras of a premium class FUJIFILM X100.

X100V this fifth generation of Fujifilm X100 series and unlike the previous models has the updated lens 23mm F2, the new version of the hybrid view-finder, the case with protection against dust and moisture *, the rotary LCD display and a set of other updates. Matrix X-TransTM CMOS 4 new generations and the X-Processor 4 processor do X100V by the simple and functional tool for image acquisition of improbable quality when shooting photos and video — from beginners to exacting professionals.

Main characteristics and the FUJIFILM X100V updates

Top and lower panels of the X100V case are manufactured by

New lens allows to extract a maximum from any picture

X100V is equipped with new lens 23mm F2.0 which provides the highest image quality thanks to matrix X-TransTM CMOS 4. This lens improved for higher resolution, lower distortions a significant step forward in comparison with those which were used in last cameras of X100 series at the same time it saved the same dimensions and compatibility with the conversion lenses WCL/TCL, saving at the same time the built-in 4-foot ND filter.

Heart of X100V is a combination of modern matrix X-TransTM CMOS 4 and the X-Processor 4 processor. The latest 26.1 Megapixels the matrix with the return flare allows to increase as much as possible quality of images and dynamic range, and the original color filter allows to eliminate moire and color distortions without use of the optical low-frequency filter. The four-nuclear X-Processor 4 processor which not only provides fast and smooth image processing is responsible for performance, but thanks to a new operation algorithm increases efficiency of autofocusing at illumination – 5EV.

Improved hybrid X100V view-finder allows to be switched by

world quickly between the optical view-finder with increase 0.52 and the electronic OLED view-finder with the resolution of 3.69 million points. Providing coverage of a shot of 95%, the optical view-finder uses the correction on parallax, creating the picture without distortions, and the electronic viewfinder of the camera allows to see the image in real time taking into account settings of the camera. It is also possible to select function of an electronic range finder (ERF) at which in the lower right corner of the optical view-finder the small electronic shot is displayed, opening additional opportunities for framing and control of exposure.

More than just the camera

X100V can record video 4K with a speed up to 30 frames per second or 1080p at a speed of 120 frames per second for creation of effects of the superslowed-down movement. Authors of movies for whom the maximum accuracy of a color rendition is necessary can write 10-bit color 4:2:2 through HDMI port and apply the modes of modeling of a film, for example, of ETERNA. Besides, it is possible to use the different modes of shooting, for example, "monochrome color" and effect of Color Chrome.
