The Future Sound of London which is often reduced to FSOL — the British electronic duet of Harry Cobain (English Garry Cobain) and Brian Dugans (English Brian Dougans). Though their music is considered to be ambient, musicians try to abstain from labeling and reference of the creations to any style. Their music affects the majority of fields of electronic music: the breakbeat, dramas-N-bace, trip hop, ambient dub, clean ambient, and in most cases includes the experiments going into extremes. Cobain and Dugans received reputation of remiksher, having thoroughly processed works of various musicians among which there is Curve, Robert Fripp, David Silvian, Hary Lucas, John Anderson, Apollo 440. As a rule, the result turns out difficult and very unusual, and in some cases initial songs are hardly learned in processings. Except music their interests are infringed also by other areas, such as cinema and video, two- and three-dimensional computer r and f and to and and animation, the Internet and broadcasting.
SDN (in transl. from English Integrated Services Digital Network there is a digital network with integration of services) is the album of electronic The Future Sound of London duet released by 2 different editions in 1994 and 1995. The album consists of various live broadcastings which were transferred by group to radio stations worldwide on ISDN channels which were rather new technology in those days.
In an album meet numerous mentions of several movies as, for example, in composition of "Eyes Pop — Skin Explodes — Everybody Dead" the speech of J. Frank Parnell from Konfiskator is heard, and in "It’s My Mind That Works" Miller from the same movie tells "You know how everybody’s into weirdness right now" and "It’s all part of a cosmic unconsciousness". Also at the track "The Far Out Son Of A Lung And The Ramblings Of A Madman" there are samples from the fantastic movie Strangers, and in the track "Appendage" Bishop says: "It is quite good for the person" (English Not bad for human [being]). [2] Also throughout all album samples from movies "Escape From New York", "Predator" and "Expelling a Devil 2" are scattered.
