Flavovir syrup is accepted at the following indications:

• Etiotropic treatment and prevention of a SARS.
• Etiotropic treatment and prevention of the flu including caused by viruses of pandemic strains.

Structure

1 ml of syrup:

0.02 ml of liquid Proteflazid extract, received from mix of herbs (1: 1) Shchuchki turfy (Herba Deschampsia caespitosa L.) and Smallreed land (Herba Calamagrostis epigeios L.) (extraction solvent – ethanol of 96%) that not less than 0.0035 mg of flavonoids in terms of Rutinum are equivalent;

Excipients: propylene glycol, ethanol of 96%, sorbite (E 420), methylparaben (E 218), propylparaben (E 216), sodium sulfite (E 221), the water purified.

Contraindication

Hypersensitivity to medicament components. A peptic ulcer of a stomach or duodenum in an aggravation stage. Autoimmune diseases.

Route of administration

Before the use a bottle with syrup needs to be shaken up.

Syrup should be dosed by means of the dosing capacity and to accept orally in 20-30 minutes prior to food.

For achievement of bigger therapeutic effect at contact with respiratory viruses it is desirable for p to hold syrup for 20-30 seconds in a mouth, having rinsed a throat before ingestion.

Side effects

Allergic reactions: at persons with hypersensitivity, reactions of hypersensitivity can take place. There can be allergic reactions, including rash, an itching, urticaria, a dermahemia.

from digestive system: cases of gastrointestinal disorders – pain in epigastric area, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea (in the presence of these symptoms it is necessary to accept syrup in 1.5-2 hours after a meal) are observed. At patients with a chronic gastroduodenit the aggravation of the gastroduodenit, emergence of a gastroesophageal reflux is possible (reflux esophagitis).

General disorders: perhaps tranzitorny fervescence up to 38 °C for the 3-10th day of therapy by drug, a headache.

during clinical use established a possibility of a combination of Flavovir® syrup with antibiotics and antifungal medicaments for treatment virus and bacterial and virus fungus diseases. Negative manifestations owing to interaction with other medicines it is not established.
