Forest Bark Filler from Exo Terra producer biodegradable consists of bark of a fir and is excellent substrate for plants and will be suitable for inhabitants of a tropical terrarium — amphibians and reptiles and for invertebrates. Hygroscopic features of filler help to regulate humidity, it both absorbs and emits moisture. Substrate consists of the particles having the special form and the size. Particles induce the pets rush to digging of holes and digging, and in time feeding do not allow crickets to hide in filler. At filler production, material is carefully mixed for removal of dust and to smooth bark particles, heat treatment for prevention of pollution of bacteria is carried out later.
