Pharmacological properties Active ingredients: vitamin E and selenium are natural highly active antioxidants with different mechanisms of action, which effectively complement each others action at different times, counteract the release of free radicals and prevent their destructive effect on cell membranes. Vitamin E prevents the oxidation of lipid components of cell membranes by inhibiting the creation of hydrogen peroxide. In a later period, selenium by hydroxylation takes part in the creation of glutathione peroxidase and is able not only to convert hydrogen peroxide into less dangerous alcohols, but also to prevent the release of free radicals harmful to the body of animals. Vitamin E also stimulates the synthesis of many enzymes, participates in the metabolism of nucleic acids and prostaglandins, improves tissue respiration, stimulates protein synthesis, protects vitamin A from oxidation, inhibits cholesterol synthesis and normalizes blood lipids. Selenium plays an important role in the formation of more than 30 hormones, enzymes and other biologically active substances necessary for the body, stimulates erythrocytopoiesis, and improves oxygen supply to cells. Vitamin E with selenium indirectly activates the protective functions of cellular and humoral immunities and the state of the bodys immune system, significantly improves the reproductive capacity of animals, by improving sperm production in males, uterine activity and restoring the normal functioning of the ovaries in females after childbirth. Application The drug is used for all types of domestic animals to enhance the general and specific resistance of their body, as well as the prevention and treatment of diseases developing against the background of tocopherol and selenium deficiency: muscular dystrophy, white muscle disease, cardiomyopathy, hepatodystrophy, infertility in males, reduced reproductive capacity and infertility in females , embryonic mortality, abortion, postpartum complications, ketosis, toxicosis, growth retardation, developmental delay, weakening of animals in infectious and parasitic diseases, to prevent complications caused by the administration of iron-containing drugs.
