Eric Clapton ‎ – After Midnight/Easy Now (Polydor ‎ – 2001-096, UK, 1970).
"After Midnight" is the song Jay Jay of Cale for the first time released in 1966. Eric Clapton made a cover on it for the album of the same name released in 1970. Claptons execution made success that induced Cale to rewrite the song for an album "Naturally" of 1972. In 1987 Clapton rewrote the song for advertizing of Michelob beer, and then released rewriting as a single. "After Midnight" is considered one of signature songs by Clapton throughout all his career. In later years the covers on this song were made by other actors. Plastinks
