Description: 100 ml of medicine contain: fipronit active ingredient (8.0 g) which is used for destruction and prevention of infection with fleas, parazitoformny ticks and louses at all stages of development in dogs and cats. Fipronil blocks nervous system of ektoparazit, causing their paralysis and death. Active agent is not soaked up in blood of animals and does not influence their nervous system. Protective effect of medicine lasts up to 1.5-2 months.

Pharmacological properties: fipronit affects the central nervous system of ektoparazit, without influencing the central nervous system of animals. The mechanism of action of a fipronil at invertebrates consists in slowing down of passing of ions of chlorine in GAMK-zavisimykh chloride channels, in violation of work of nervous system. Through system blocking fipronily nervous system there comes nervous overexcitation and death of the ektoparazit. Fipronil shows contact action and is practically not soaked up through skin. It collects in epidermis, sebaceous glands, hair follicles and is gradually released throughout certain time. The effect of "tank" is created that provides long residual activity of a fipronil. After local drawing, medicine is distributed on the surface of a body for 24 hours.

Application: prevention and treatments of dogs and cats at the diseases caused by ektoparazita: fleas (Ctenocephalus spp.), parazitoformny pincers (Dermacentor spp., Rhipicephalus spp., Ixodes spp.) and louses, low-phages at imaginal and larval stages of development.

Medicine is effective at ear itch (otodektoz).

Dosage: medicine is applied outwardly directly to skin by means of an ampoule dropper to the places inaccessible for a slizyvaniye: to dogs in the field of withers and along a backbone, to cats in a nape, on auricle skin. At itch and malofagoza the processing is carried out by 2–3 times with an interval of 8-10 days.
Puppies and kittens – 0.5 ml (1 piece).
Medicine is put once. The preventive effect lasts for 1.5-2 months. On the termination of this term if necessary processing can be repeated.

Contraindication: medicine with fipronily is not recommended to be applied to kittens aged up to 12 weeks and to puppies up to 10 weeks. In the place of putting medicine the temporary irritation of skin can be observed. It is impossible to apply medicine in case of individual sensitivity of animals to a fipronil. Medicine is not recommended for the exhausted, old, pregnant and lactating animals.

Caution: after processing of animals needs to wash up hands with soap. It is not allowed within 48 hours after processing to bathe and iron animals. In case of overdose use atropine sulfate in therapeutic doses and symptomatic treatment.
