tablets "Diokor Solo 160" are applied at the following indications:
- arterial hypertension: treatment of arterial hypertension at adults and children aged from 6 up to 18 years;
- postinfarction state: treatment of clinically stable adult patients with symptomatic heart failure or asymptomatic systolic dysfunction of a left ventricle after recently (12 hours - 10 days) the postponed myocardial infarction;
- heart failure: treatment of symptomatic heart failure at adult patients when it is impossible to apply inhibitors of angiotensin-converting enzyme (APF) or as auxiliary therapy with APF inhibitors when it is impossible to apply beta-blockers.
Structure
Active ingredient - valsartan (one tablet, coated, supports a valsartan of 160 mg).
Excipients: calcium hydrophosphate a dihydrate, cellulose microcrystalline, hydroxypropyl cellulose, sodium of a kroskarmelloz, silicon dioxide colloidal anhydrous, talc, magnesium stearate, a covering for drawing a cover of Opadry II White (polyethyleneglycol, polyvinyl alcohol, talc, the titan dioxide (E 171)).
Contraindication
- hypersensitivity to a valsartan or at any excipient;
- pregnancy or planning of pregnancy;
- a congenital Quincke's disease or such which developed in time of the previous treatment by APF inhibitor or the antagonist of receptors of angiotensin II;
- simultaneous use of antagonists of a receptor of angiotensin, including "Diokor Solo 160", or APF inhibitors with aliskireny to patients with diabetes (1st or 2nd type) or a renal failure (glomerular filtration rate (SGF) <60 ml/minute);
- do not have data on patients with the profound renal failure (clearance of creatinine less than 10 ml/minute).
Route of administration
"Diokor Solo 160" can be applied irrespective of meal, tablets should be washed down with water.
Arterial hypertension
Recommended initial dose of the medicament "Diokor Solo 160" makes 80 mg of 1 times a day. The antihypertensive effect is reached within 2 weeks, and the maximum effect - within 4 weeks. Some patients with inadequately controlled arterial blood pressure can raise a dose to 160 mg and to maximum - 320 mg.
"Diokor Solo 160" can be applied with other antihypertensive drugs. Combined use of diuretics, such as hydrochlorothiazide, will reduce even more arterial blood pressure at such patients.
Recently postponed myocardial infarction
Therapy to clinically stable patients can be begun within 12 hours after the postponed myocardial infarction. After an initial dose of a valsartan of 20 mg (tablets should not be divided into the same doses, it is necessary to take dosage forms in the corresponding dosage) 2 times a day it is necessary to raise a dose to 40 mg (tablets should not be divided into the same doses, it is necessary to take dosage forms in the corresponding dosage), 80 mg and 160 mg 2 times a day within the next several weeks.
Target maximum dose makes 160 mg 2 times a day. It is generally recommended that the level of a dosage of 80 mg 2 times a day was reached in two weeks after an initiation of treatment and the maximum dose of 160 mg 2 times a day was reached in 3 months depending on shipping by the patient of treatment. When developing symptomatic arterial hypotension or renal dysfunction it is necessary to consider a question of a dose decline.
Valsartan patients who were treated by other medicaments after the postponed myocardial infarction, for example trombolitika, acetylsalicylic acid, beta-blockers, statines and diuretics can apply. The combination with APF inhibitors is not recommended.
to Patients after the postponed myocardial infarction always needs to carry out bymonitoring of function of kidneys.
Heart failure
Recommended initial dose of a valsartan makes 40 mg (tablets should not be divided into the same doses, it is necessary to take dosage forms in the corresponding dosage) 2 times a day. 2 times a day it is necessary to carry out gradual increase in a dose to 80 mg and 160 mg with intervals not less than 2 weeks to the dose depending on shipping the patient. It is necessary to consider a question of a dose decline of the accompanying diuretics. The maximum daily dose which was applied at clinical trials made 320 mg and was divided into several receptions.
Valsartan can be applied in a combination with other medicaments to treatment of heart failure. However the triple combination of APF inhibitor, a beta-blocker and a valsartan is not recommended.
to Patients with heart failure the monitoring of function of kidneys is necessary for.

Safety and efficiency of use of the medicament "Diokor Solo 160" aged from the 1st up to 6 years are not established to children. Drug is recommended for treatment of heart failure or a postinfarction state at children due to the lack of data on safety and efficiency.
Arterial hypertension at children (children and teenagers aged from 6 up to 18 years). The initial dose makes 40 mg (tablets should not be divided into the same doses, it is necessary to take dosage forms in the corresponding dosage) for children with body weight less than 35 kg and 80 mg for children with the body weight of 35 kg or more once a day once a day.
