Diclofenac capsules it is shown at:

Structure

Active ingredient: diclofenac;

1 capsule contains sodium diclofenac in terms of 100% substance of 25 mg;

Excipients: lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate;

: gelatin, titan dioxide (E 171), indigotin (E 132), erythrosine (E 127), ferrous oxide (E 172).

Contraindication

• Hypersensitivity to active ingredient or to any other component of medicine.
• Acute ulcer of stomach or intestines; gastrointenstinalny bleeding or perforation.
• Bleeding or perforation of digestive tract in the anamnesis connected with the previous treatment by non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medicaments (NPVP).
• Active form of a peptic ulcer / bleeding or a recurrent peptic ulcer / bleeding in the anamnesis.
• Last trimester of pregnancy.
• Inflammatory bowel diseases (for example Crohn's disease or ulcer colitis).
• Liver failure.
• Renal failure.
• Stagnant heart failure (NYHA II-IV).
• Coronary heart disease at the patients having stenocardia or who had a myocardial infarction.
• Cerebrovascular diseases at the patients who had a stroke or have episodes of the passing ischemic attacks.
• Disease of peripheral arteries.

Route of administration

Capsule entirely, without opening, washing down with water, it is desirable before food.

For adults the recommended dose makes 100-150 mg a day. In case of moderate expressiveness of symptoms, as a rule, there is enough application of a dose of 75-100 mg a day. The daily dose should be divided into 2-3 receptions.

Overdose

Typical clinical picture inherent to diclofenac overdose does not exist. The overdose can cause such symptoms as a headache, nausea, vomiting, pain in epigastriums, gastrointestinal bleeding, diarrhea, dizziness, a disorientation, excitement, a coma, drowsiness, sonitus or spasms. Acute renal failure and damage of a liver possible in case of heavy intoxication.

After reception of potentially toxic doses activated carbon can be applied, and after reception of potentially life-threatening doses - cleaning of a stomach is carried out (for example callings of vomiting, gastric lavage).

Side effects

• from nervous system: often - a headache, dizziness.
• from organs of hearing and a labyrinth: often - vertigo.
• from digestive tract: often - nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, dyspepsia, an abdominal pain, a meteorism.
• from skin and hypodermic cellulose: often - rash.
• from kidneys and an urinary system: often - a liquid delay in an organism, hypostases.

Interaction

Holestipol and holestiramin. These medicines can cause a delay or diclofenac absorption reduction. Thus, it is recommended to appoint diclofenac at least for an hour to or in 4-6 h after use of kolestipol / Colestyraminum.

Cardiac glycosides. Simultaneous use of cardiac glycosides and NPVP can strengthen heart failure, lower SKF and increase the level of glycosides in blood plasma.

Mifepristone. NPVP should not be applied within 8-12 days after use of mifepristone as NPVP can reduce effect of mifepristone.
