Active ingredient: mebgidrolin.

Structure

• 1 tablet supports a mebgidrolin of 100 mg;
• additional substances: lactose monohydrate, potato starch, cellulose microcrystalline, povidone, silicon dioxide colloidal anhydrous, magnesium stearate.

release Form

Tablet of a ploskotsilindrichesky form with a facet, color, white or white with a yellowish shade.

Pharmacological properties

Pharmacodynamics. Active ingredient of medicament - mebgidrolin - belongs to antihistamines, is a blocker of hl-receptors. Weakens spazmogenny effect of a histamine of rather unstriated muscles of bronchial tubes, intestines and also affects permeability of vessels.

Pharmacokinetics. Mebgidrolin is quickly soaked up in a digestive tract. The bioavailability is 40–60%. The therapeutic effect is reached in 15–30 min., the maximum action is noted in 1–2 h. Drug practically does not get through GEB. It is metabolized in a liver by methylation. It is brought out of an organism by kidneys.

Indication

Prevention and treatment of seasonal allergic rhinitis, pollinosis, urticaria, food and medicinal allergy, dermatosis which is followed by an itching (eczema, neurodermatitis).

Use

Drug is taken inside after a meal.

to use medicament in a dose 100–200 mg 1–2 times a day. The maximum single dose — 300 mg, daily — 600 mg.

to Children at the age of 5–12 years to use medicament in a dose 50 mg (½ tablets) 1–3 times a day.

Duration of treatment is defined by the doctor depending on the nature of the disease reached therapeutic effect and tolerance of drug.

Contraindication

Hypersensitivity to active ingredient or other components of drug, ulcer of stomach and duodenum during aggravation, inflammatory diseases of a digestive tract, a pylorostenosis, a prostate hyperplasia, glaucoma, epilepsy, disturbance of a warm rhythm.

Side effects

from nervous system, mentality and sense bodys: headache, dizziness, paresthesias, increased fatigue, drowsiness, illegibility of visual perception, delay of speed of reactions, tremor, irritability, uneasiness (night).

from a digestive tract: dryness in a mouth, the dispeptic phenomena (heartburn, nausea, pain in epigastric area), irritation of a mucous membrane of a digestive tract.

from the immune system, skin and hypodermic cellulose: reactions of hypersensitivity, itching, rash, urticaria, Quincke's edema.

from an urinary system: urination disturbance.

from the system of blood and lymphatic system: granulocytopenia, agranulocytosis.

children sometimes have paradoxical reactions: overexcitement, tremor, sleep disorder.

Special instructions

during use of medicament is not recommended to take alcoholic beverages and to apply the medicines containing ethanol.

to use Drug with care at patients with a heavy liver and/or renal failure (dose adjustment and increase in intervals between receptions can be required).

Drug contains lactose therefore to patients with rare hereditary forms of intolerance of a galactose, insufficiency of lactase or a syndrome of glyukozo-galaktozny malabsorption it is not necessary to use drug.

Use during pregnancy and feeding by a breast. Drug is contraindicated during pregnancy and feeding by a breast.

Children. To use medicament at children aged from 5 years.

Ability to influence speed of response at control of vehicles or work with other mechanisms. During use of medicament it is not recommended to run the vehicles or other mechanisms demanding concentration of attention and speed of psychomotor reactions.

Interaction

Drug exponentiates effect of the somnolent, sedative and other medicaments oppressing central nervous system and also alcohol.

Overdose

Symptoms: confusion of consciousness, drowsiness, a lack of coordination of movements, dryness in a mouth.

Treatment: gastric lavage to pure washing water, intake of activated carbon inside, an artificial diuresis. Symptomatic further treatment.

Storage conditions

In original packing at a temperature not above 25 °C.
