Deep Purple (it is also known as April and Deep Purple of III) — the third studio album of the British Deep Purple group. The latest album created by the original structure of group, known as "Mark I". Written down during the period from January to March, 1969) on "De Lane Lea Studios" in London. Left in the USA in June on Tetragrammaton Records label, and in Great Britain — in September, 1969 on Harvest Records label. Remastered and republished in 2000 with addition of five bonus tracks.
Most known composition of an album (by name which often call all album) is the 12-minute play "April" finishing an album which is written down with participation of specially employed musicians playing wind and string instruments.
