"Heroes" (in translation from English — "Heroes") — the twelfth studio album of the British musician David Bowie published on October 14, 1977 on RCA Records label; the second of the so-called "Berlin trilogy" (albums Low, "Heroes", Lodger) which is written down in cooperation with Brian Eno. Only of cycle albums, entirely written down in Berlin. On the disk "Heroes" the sound of the previous album Low evolved in more "positive" direction. The composition of the same name — classical history of two lovers who are secretly meeting near the Berlin wall with threat for the life — remains so far one of the most popular songs by Bowie. The album in general was extremely highly estimated by critics — in particular, thanks to a contribution of the guitarist Robert Fripp who specially arrived from the USA for one day for record of the guitar parties. According to John Lennon, during creation of the album Double Fantasy (1980) he sought "to make something as good as an album "Heroes" "
