corsair of N – the medicine containing in structure valsartan and diuretic (Hydrochlorthiazidum). Indications - essential arterial hypertension at patients whose blood pressure respectively is not regulated by monotherapy.

Structure

• 1 tablet contains 80 mg of a valsartan and 12.5 mg of Hydrochlorthiazidum;
• other components: microcrystalline cellulose, lactoses monohydrate, sodium of a kroskarmeloz, povidone (K29-K32), talc, magnesium stearate, silicon dioxide colloidal anhydrous;
• structure of a cover of a tablet: Opadry II 85G25455 Red (polyvinyl alcohol, talc, titanium dioxide (E 171), macrogoal 3350, lecithin, ferrous oxide red (E 172), yellow West of FCF (E 110)).

Contraindication

Hypersensitivity to the Corsair of N components or other derivatives of sulfonamides.

Heavy abnormal liver functions, cirrhosis and cholestasia.

Anury.

Route of administration

Recommended dose the Corsair of N – 1 tablet of 80 mg / 12.5 mg/days. At insufficient decrease in the ABP in 3–4 weeks of treatment 1 tablet of 160 mg / 12.5 mg/days is recommended to consider the possibility of continuation of treatment with a dosage. / 25 to appoint tablets of 160 mg mg to patients at whom sufficient decrease in the ABP at use of tablets of 160 mg is not reached / 12.5 mg. If further at use of tablets of 160 mg / 25 the mg of the ABP decreases insufficiently, it is recommended to consider the possibility of continuation of treatment with a dosage of 320 mg / 12.5 mg. Tablets of 320 mg / 25 appoint mg to patients at whom sufficient decrease in the ABP at use of tablets of 320 mg is not reached / 12.5 mg.

Maximum daily dosage makes 320 mg / 25 mg.

Feature of use

Corsair of N should be applied with extra care to patients with a unilateral or bilateral renal artery stenosis or a stenosis of an artery of the only kidney as at such patients levels of urea of blood and creatinine of plasma can increase.

Corsair of N to patients with primary hyper aldosteronism as their renin-angiotenzinovaya the system is not activated.

Pregnant

Medicine should not be applied to pregnant women.

Drug Corsair of N is not recommended by

for use to children due to the lack of data on safety and efficiency.

Drivers

at the beginning of medicine use (the period is defined individually by the doctor) is forbidden to drive the car and to perform work that can lead to accident, considering that there can sometimes be dizziness or fatigue.

Overdose

Overdose of a valsartan can cause the profound hypotension which, in turn, can lead to consciousness oppression, development of vascular insufficiency and/or shock.

At overdose of Hydrochlorthiazidum the following symptoms can arise: nausea, drowsiness, hypovolemia, disturbance of balance of electrolytes and as a result arrhythmia and muscular spasms.

Side effects

Infection: viral infections, fever.

Disbolism, metabolism: dehydration.

Neurologic disorders: headaches, fatigue, dizziness, asthenia, dizziness, insomnia, uneasiness, paresthesia.
