Extract of onions shows anti-inflammatory effect due to oppression of discharge of mediators of inflammation and also has antiallergic effect. Slows down growth of fibroblasts of various genesis, especially keloid fibroblasts. Besides, the oppressing effect concerning a mitosis (cell fission) and reduction of formation of extracellular components of a matrix from fibroblasts is proved (for example proteoglycans). Extract of onions has also bactericidal effect. The listed properties of the medicine Contractubex stimulate primary healing of wounds and help to counteract not physiological formation of hems.

Heparin has anti-inflammatory, antiallergic, anti-proliferative properties, increases hydration of fabrics and has the softening effect on collagenic structure. In treatment of hems the anti-inflammatory effect of heparin and its influence on components of a matrix of connective tissue have bigger value, than the known antitrombotichesky effect.

Allantoin promotes healing and epithelization of wounds, increases water binding by fabrics. Besides, its keratolytic action and ability to improve permeability increase efficiency of other components of medicine. Allantoin also has the calming effect, reduces severity of an itch which often accompanies scarring process.

Synergy effect of this combination of active ingredients consists in slowing down of proliferation of fibroblasts and, in particular, patholologically the accelerated collagen synthesis.

Indication

Hypertrophic keloid cicatrixes which limit mobility and spoil outward after operations, amputations, burns and other mechanical injuries of skin; contractures, for example fingers (palmar fibromatosis) and also traumatic contractures of a sinew and cicatricial strictures (atrophic hems).
