White Coal – an enterosorbent which active agent is silicon dioxide.

Indications

As monotherapy or in complex therapy:

• sharp intestinal diseases (salmonellosis, food toxicoinfections);
• sharp diarrhea of a different etiology;
• exogenous intoxication household and industrial toxins (alkaloids, salts of heavy metals, other substances), medicines, at alcoholic and food overloads.

As auxiliary therapy:

• at a viral hepatitis;
• at allergic diseases;
• at dermatitis;
• at a late gestosis of pregnant women.

Structure

• active ingredient: silicon dioxide colloidal waterless;
• 1 tablet contains silicon of dioxide of anhydrous colloidal 210 mg (in terms of 100% dry matter);
• other components: potato starch, cellulose microcrystalline, sorbite (E 420), sodium of a kroskarmeloz, magnesium stearate.

Contraindication

Hypersensitivity to active ingredient and excipients. A peptic ulcer of a stomach and duodenum in an aggravation stage. Ulcers and erosion mucous intestines. Gastric and intestinal bleedings. Intestinal impassability.

in intervals between meals, washing down with drinking water:

• to adults and children aged from 7 years - on 3-5 tablets 3-4 times a day;
• to children at the age of 5-6 years - on 3 tablets 3 times a day;
• to children at the age of 3-4 years - on 2 tablets 3 times a day.

In hard cases if necessary a single dose can be increased till 10-14 tablets.

In sharp intestinal diseases the course of treatment makes 3-5 days. In hard cases the term of treatment can be prolonged up to 10-15 days.

Course of treatment of a viral hepatitis depends on weight of a course of the disease and makes 10-14 days.

Duration of treatment depends on the course of the disease.

Feature of application

White Coal at its application in complex therapy should be accepted in 1 hour prior to intake of other oral medicines to prevent decrease in their efficiency.

As medicine White Coal does not contain some sugar, patients can apply it with diabetes.

Medicine contains sorbite therefore patients should not apply with rare hereditary diseases, such as syndrome of intolerance of fructose.

Children

At simultaneous application of the White Corner and acetylsalicylic acid can amplify processes of disaggregation of platelets.
