Active agents

• Extract of bilberry contains the antotsianida having anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effect. They promote improvement of rheological properties of blood reducing a clotting, to strengthening of a wall of blood vessels (the effect is caused by ability of an antotsianida to influence collagen biosynthesis regulation) and also accelerate restoration decoloured rhodopsin.
• Specific carotinoids lutein and zeaxanthin contain in a crystalline lens and a retina of an eye and provide protection of photoreceptor cages against the oxygen radicals induced by light. Lutein and zeaxanthin have the antioxidant, picturizing and absorbing effect.

Recommendation to the use

Prevention and as a part of complex treatment:

• shortsightedness;
• a diabetic retinopathy;
• an azotemic retinitis;
• violations of mechanisms of adaptation of sight to darkness both at night, and at twilight sight;
• dystrophic diseases of a retina;
• an age macular degeneration of a retina;
• a cataract;
• occlusion of vessels of a retina;
• a visual asthenopia (including at children aged from 7 years).

Megazir is applied also to prevention of deterioration in sight at the raised visual load of eyes, to elimination of signs of visual fatigue and also in complex recovery therapy at states after surgery (FRK, amotio of a retina and others).

• Active ingredients:
  • Extract of bilberry standardized (25% anthocyanidins) in terms of anthocyanidins - 44.25 mg.
  Lyutein's
  • 20% of FS in terms of lutein - 6 mg.
  Zeaksantin's
  • 20% of FS in terms of zeaxanthin - 1.2 mg.
• Excipients: lecithin, wax yellow, sunflower oil.
• Cover of a gelatin capsule: gelatin, glycerin, water purified, methylparaben (E 218), propilparagidroksibenzoat (E 216), the titan dioxide (E171), diamond blue (E 133), ferrous oxide black (E172), karmoizin (E 122).

Route of administration

to Adults and children is more senior than 7 years appoint on one capsule 2-3 times a day after a meal within a month, further - on one capsule of 1 times a day within the next two months.

Duration of treatment is defined by the doctor individually.

Precautionary measure

in case of accidental overdose of medicine showed gastric lavage, intake of activated carbon; if necessary carry out symptomatic therapy.
