Calendula ointment

Ingredients:

Active ingredient: Tinctura Calendulae (calendulae tіnctura) (1:10) (extractant — ethanol of 70.0% (about/about)) 100 mg;

excipients: jellied emulsion: the water purified, paraffin white soft, T-2 emulsifier, oil mineral.

Dosage form.

Ointment.

Main physical and chemical properties: dense homogeneous mass of light yellow color with a grayish or greenish shade.

Pharmacological properties.

Drug has anti-inflammatory, reparative and antiseptic effect. these effects are caused by the rich content of substances (carotinoids, flavonoids, saponins, tannins, triterpenovy glycosides, organic acids, ascorbic acid) which increase growth of granulations, improve epithelization, raise local protective mechanisms.

Increased individual sensitivity to medicament components.
