"Third Stage" (Russian. "The third stage") — the third studio album of the American rock group Boston which left on September 23, 1986 on the American label of MCA Records. An album was recorded at the American recording studio of "Tom Scholzs Hideaway Studio" – house Toma Choltsa of studio from the group Boston, USA, during 1980 - 1986. The album is produced by the founder and "brain" of the Boston group Tom Sholts.
Album received positive reviews from the leading musical editions. The Amanda song was published by a single and took 1 position in the American charts: in categories Billboard Hot 100 and Billboard Mainstream Rock and also 1 position in charts of RPM100 Singles of Canada also remained on the first place within two weeks. It was followed by the second single from an album "Were Ready" which took the 2nd position in Billboard Mainstream Rock and the 9th position in Billboard Hot 100. The third single "Cool the Engines" took the 4th position in Billboard Mainstream Rock. The fourth single "Cantcha Say (You Believe in Me)/Still in Love" took the 7th position in Billboard Mainstream Rock and 20 – in Billboard Hot 100. These songs and videoklina removed on them had high radio - and television rotation.
Later in a chart of "Third Stage" took only three weeks the 1st place in Billboard 200 where it remained within four weeks, also the album took 1 position in charts of RPM of Canada and 37 – in the rating of the Chart of albums of Great Britain. The album finally was certified by RIAA 4 times Platinum.
