Structure

• active ingredient: ketorolac;
• 1 ml of solution the ketorolaka of a trometamol in terms of 100% contains substance of 30 mg;
• other components: sodium chloride, ethanol (96%), dinatrium edetat, sodium hydroxide, water for injections.

Contraindication

BLOKPEYN it is contraindicated:

• to patients with hypersensitivity to a ketorolak of a trometamol, any of excipients of medicine or other NPVS in the anamnesis and also to patients with allergic reactions to acetylsalicylic acid or to other inhibitors of synthesis of prostaglandin (at such patients were observed). Such reactions included asthma, rhinitis, a Quincke's disease or a small tortoiseshell;
• to patients with asthma in the anamnesis;
• to children up to 16 years;
• to patients with an active round ulcer or gastrointestinal bleeding, ulcers or perforation in the anamnesis;
• as well as other NPVS, BLOKPEYN it is contraindicated to patients with a heavy heart, liver and renal failure; to patients with moderate or heavy renal failures (creatinine level in blood serum> 160 µmol/l) or to patients with risk of developing a renal failure owing to a hypovolemia or dehydration;
• during pregnancy, during the fights and childbirth or during feeding by a breast.

BLOKPEYN by

Experience of prolonged use is limited as most of patients transferred to oral administration of medicine or after the period of intramuscular introduction the patients did not need the anesthetizing therapy any more.

Probability of side reactions can be minimized, applying the smallest effective dose during the shortest period necessary for control of symptoms.

Recommended initial medicament dose of BLOKPEYN makes 10 mg with the subsequent introduction on 10–30 mg each 4–6 hours if necessary. In the initial postoperative stage of BLOKPEYN if necessary it is possible to enter each 2 hours. It is necessary to appoint a minimal effective dose. The general daily dose should not exceed 90 mg for patients of young age, 60 mg for patients of advanced age, patients with a renal failure and patients with body weight <50 kg. The maximum duration of treatment should not exceed 2 days.

Feature of application

Use during pregnancy or feeding by a breast

Due to the proved influence of NPVS on the cardiovascular system of a fruit (early closing of an arterial channel), a ketorolak trometamol it is contraindicated during pregnancy, fights or childbirth.

It was confirmed that ketorolak and its metabolites get to a fruit and milk of animals. Ketorolaka trometamol is found out in milk of the person in low concentration therefore BLOKPEYN is contraindicated to the nursing women.
