Baume-benge ointment is applied at the following indications: rheumatism (joint and muscular), sciatica, arthritis, neuralgia, exudative pleurisy.

Structure

1 g of ointment contains (active ingredients):

• left menthol - 39 mg;
• methyl salicylate - 202 mg.

Excipients: paraffin yellow soft, paraffin.

Contraindication

• hypersensitivity to components of medicine, a disease of skin, injury, a wound of skin in the site of application of medicine;
• hypersensitivity to acetylsalicylic acid, an ibuprofen or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, especially in the presence of bronchial asthma in the anamnesis.

Route of administration

Drug is used outwardly. Rub 2-3 times a day in painful parts of the body, including a thorax (at pleurisy). After embrocation it is recommended to apply the dry warming bandage. Side effects

Cryesthesia, then heat, weak burning and pricking. Allergic reactions, including erubescence, rash, urticaria, contact dermatitis, naggers who demand medicament withdrawal are possible. There can be skin burns, bubbles and temporary reactions from skin.
