Gum gel "Metronidazole of an awning" is applied at infectious and inflammatory diseases of the parodont and a mucous membrane of an oral cavity:

• sharp and chronic (hydropic, hyperplastic, atrophic) ulitis;
• sharp ulcer and necrotic ulitis (Vincent's ulitis);
• stomatitis;
• periodontitis, periodontal abscess (as a part of combination therapy).

Structure

1 g of gel for gums contains (active ingredients):

• metronidazole of benzoate it is equivalent metronidazole - 10 mg;

Excipients: propylene glycol, carbomer, dinatrium edetat (Trilonum B), menthol, saccharin of sodium, sodium hydroxide, water purified.

• Hypersensitivity to metronidazole, a chlorhexidin and also the derivatives of a nitroimidazole and any components which are a part of medicine.

Side effects

At topical administration risk of development of system side effects insignificant, however sometimes - metal smack in a mouth, a headache, burning in the site of application, nausea, allergic reactions (skin rash, an itch, a small tortoiseshell). One case of hypostasis a century as manifestation of angioneurotic reaction was described.
