Tablets Attento 20/5 are shown for treatment of essential hypertensia.

Structure

Active ingredients: medoksomit an olmezartan; amlodipina besilat;

1 tablet supports an olmezartan of a medoksomil of 20 mg and an amlodipin besilat 6.944 mg (that is equivalent an amlodipina of 5 mg);

Excipients: starch corn (corn), cellulose a microcrystalline silikovana (contains 98% of microcrystalline cellulose (Ph. Eur.) and 2% of silicon of dioxide colloidal anhydrous (Ph. Eur.)), sodium of a kroskarmelloz, magnesium stearate;

Film cover: Opadry AI 85F18422 white (polyvinyl alcohol, titan dioxide (E 171), polyethyleneglycol, talc).

Contraindication

• Hypersensitivity to active ingredients, derivatives of dihydropyridine or any of excipients.
• Pregnancy and planning of pregnancy.
• Heavy liver failure and obstruction of bilious ways.

• Combined use of Attento and the medicaments containing aliskiren is contraindicated to patients with diabetes or a renal failure (SKF <60 ml/min. / 1.73 m ² ).

Because of existence in structure of an amlodipin of Attento® it is also contraindicated to patients at whom:

• heavy arterial hypotension;
• shock (including cardiogenic shock);
• disturbance of outflow of blood from a left ventricle (for example, in a stenosis of an aorta of heavy degree);
• hemodynamically unstable heart failure after an acute myocardial infarction.

Route of administration

Tablet is swallowed entirely, washing down with enough liquid (for example a glass of water). Tablets should not be chewed. The medicament is recommended to be taken daily at the same time.

Overdose

Cases of overdose of Attento is not recorded. The most probable effects of overdose of an olmezartan of a medoksomil is hypotension and tachycardia is also possible bradycardia at parasympathetic stimulation (vagus nerve). The overdose of an amlodipin can lead to excessive expansion of peripheral vessels, is followed by the profound lowering of arterial pressure, and, perhaps, to reflex tachycardia. There are messages about long heavy generalized hypotension, up to shock from the death.

Treatment. If the medicament was taken recently, gastric lavage is shown. Healthy volunteers have an intake of activated carbon immediately or within 2 hours after reception of an amlodipin inside significantly reduces absorption of this substance.

Side effects

Most frequent side reactions which arose at medicament Attento use were peripheral hypostases (11.3%), a headache (5.3%) and dizziness (4.5%).

Interaction

Combined use of Attento and the medicaments containing aliskiren is contraindicated to patients with diabetes or a renal failure (SKF <60 ml/min. / 1.73 m ² ).
