Pharmacodynamics. ethylmethylhydroxypyridine succinate belongs to heteroaromatic antioxidants. has a wide range of pharmacological action: increases resistance of an organism to a stress, has anxiolytic effect which is not followed by drowsiness and myorelaxation effect; has nootropic properties, warns and reduces memory violations which arise when aging and under the influence of various pathogenic factors, has anticonvulsant effect; shows antioxidant and anti-hypoxemic effect; increases concentration of attention and working capacity; weakens toxic effect of alcohol. medicine improves metabolism of tissues of brain and their blood supply, microcirculation and rheological properties of blood, reduces aggregation of platelets. stabilizes membrane structures of blood cells (erythrocytes and platelets); reduces keeping of the general hs and LDL.

Mechanism of action is caused by its antioxidant and membranoprotektorny activity. Inhibits the FLOOR, increases activity of a superoksidoksidaza, the lipid — protein raises a ratio, reduces viscosity of a membrane. Models activity of membrane-bound enzymes (kaltsiynezavisimy FDE, adenylatecyclase, acetylcholinesterase), receptor complexes (benzodiazepine, GAMK, atsetilkholinovy) that enhances their ability to contact ligands, promotes preservation of the structurally functional organization of biomembranes, transportation of neurotransmitters and improvement of synoptic transfer. Armadin Long increases dopamine content in a head brain. In the conditions of ischemia of fabrics strengthens compensatory activation of aerobic glycolysis and reduces extent of oppression of oxidizing processes in a tricarbonic acid cycle.

Pharmacokinetics. Armadin Long — the prolonged dosage form, provides uniform release of active ingredient during 10–12 h and reduces the probability of emergence of side effects as a result of sharp increase in its content in blood plasma. Effect of medicine begins to be shown in 3–4 h after reception when concentration of active ingredient in blood plasma reaches therapeutic level, steady improvement of a condition of patients occurs in 2–3 days at establishment of stationary level of pharmacokinetic indicators. Use

Armadin longum is appointed inside irrespective of meal. for ensuring gradual and uniform release of active ingredient from a tablet it is necessary to swallow of it entirely, washing down with a glass of water.

In the first 2–3 days Armadin Long is appointed on 1 tablet on 300 or 500 mg, further the daily dose is raised to 600 mg; the medicament is taken on 1 tablet by each 12 h

At an ischemic heart disease Armadin Long accept 1–2 tablets 2 times a day within 2–3 months

Sick with disturbing states, neurocirculatory dysfunction and cognitive violations accept Armadin Long for 2–6 weeks

For knocking over of an alcoholic abstinence syndrome use medicament for 5–7 days.

Course therapy with the medicine Armadin Long is finished gradually, reducing a dose for 2–3 days

Contraindication

Hypersensitivity to any of medicine components. sharp liver or renal failure.

Side effects

it is rare — nausea, dryness of a mucous membrane of an oral cavity, allergic reactions, drowsiness, backfilling process violation, feeling of alarm, emotional reactivity, a distal hyperhidrosis, a headache, a lack of coordination, increase or decrease hell. manifestations of individual sensitivity and allergic reactions are possible.

Interaction

Armadin longum strengthens effect of benzodiazepine anxiolytics, protivoparkinsonichesky means and carbamazepine, exponentiates effect of anticonvulsants, tranquilizers and analgetics. armadin longum reduces expressiveness of toxic effect of alcohol. increases hypotensive activity of inhibitors apf, blockers of β-adrenoceptors. increases anti-anginal activity of nitromedicines. under the influence of medicine the action tranquilizing, antipsychotic amplifies, antidepressants, hypnotic medicaments and anticonvulsants that allows to lower doses of the last and to reduce severity of side effects.

At overdose the emergence of drowsiness and a sedation is possible
