Description: Transparent colourless or yellowish suspension
Structure: 1 ml of medicine contains active ingredient: megestrol acetate - 20 mg.
Excipients: 1.2 propylene glycol.
Pharmacological properties:
ATCvet QG03, the hormones of gonads and veterinary medicines applied at pathology of the sexual sphere (QG03AC05, megestrol)
Active ingredient of medicine is synthetic progestogen - megestrol acetate, highly effective synthetic progesteronopodobny hormone. It affects a gipotalamo-hypophysial system, blocks secretion of gonadotropny hormones of an adenogipofiz. Decrease in level of gonadotropny hormones (FSG and LG) in blood leads to violation of a follikulogenez at females and synthesis of testosterone in cages of Leydega at males therefore there is an oppression of sexual desire at animals.
At use of medicine prior to the beginning of a techka at females observe oppression of secretion of gonadotropny hormones, warns an ovulation. If medicine is applied at the beginning of a follicular phase (second or third day of a techka), it leads to interruption of a techka. Megestorols
acetate has the same effect as well as others progestagenovy medicines. Has essential anti-estrogen and anti-glucocorticoid activity.
Medicine is well absorbed from digestive tract, metabolized in a liver and brought out of an organism.

Application: Medicine has
anti-estrogen and to an antiovulyatorn of action and is applied to a delay or interruption of a techka at a bough and cats, without having negative effect on the subsequent pregnancies. In dogs and cats medicine brakes sexual activity and regulates their behavior.
Dosage: shake up
Before application!
apply Medicine orally. Feed an animal with a forage or set forcibly directly in a mouth in doses:

Cats:
- At emergence in cats of signs of sexual excitement for calm - 5 drops on 5 kg of body weight of an animal a day within 2 weeks (no more).
Cats:
- For interruption of a techka:
cats with a body weight of 1-5 kg - 8 drops daily to cats with a body weight of 6-10 kg - 10 drops daily within 8 days since the beginning of a techka. not to apply
if since the beginning of a techka there passed 2 days. No more than 2 times a year recommend to interrupt a techka if it is difficult to define the beginning of a techka, it is better to delay it, than to interrupt.
- For a techka delay:
Cats with a body weight of 1-5 kg - 4 drops;
Cats with a body weight of 6-10 kg - 6 drops each 2 weeks. To apply so long, it is how desirable to detain a techka.
Boughs:
- For interruption of a techka - 20 drops on each 5 kg of body weight of an animal in the first 3 days, from 4 to 10 days to give a half of a daily dose. Recommend to apply no more than 2 courses a year.
- For a techka delay - for 7-15 days prior to the beginning of a techka of 6 drops on each 5 kg of body weight of an animal daily. Maximum course of 32 days.
Dogs:
- For calm at sexual excitement - 20 drops on each 5 kg of body weight of an animal within 7 days, beginning no later than 2 days from the beginning of sexual excitement.

Contraindication :
Medicine is not recommended to be applied an animal with diseases of a reproductive system (piometra, a metritis, an endometritis), tumors of a mammary gland, at diabetes, not mature animals, the pregnant and feeding animal.
not recommended to be applied to young females to the first techka or as to an anestraln therapy at violations of a sexual cycle.

Caution: At prolonged use of medicine changes of a sexual cycle, increase in mammary glands, excessive appetite and increase in mass of an animal are possible

Storage:
Store medicine in the dry place, dark, inaccessible for children and animals, separately from food and forages at a temperature from 4 °C to 25 °C.
