Pharmacological properties

Ambroxol increases secretion of glands of airways, stimulates activity of fibers of airways, strengthens surfactant discharge lungs. these effects lead to simplification of an otkhozhdeniye of slime and its removal (mukotsiliarny clearance). activation of secretion of liquid and increase in mukotsiliarny clearance facilitate removal of slime and reduce cough.

medicine Absorption fast and rather full. The C _max in blood plasma are reached in 0.5-3 h. Extent of linking of Ambroxol with proteins of blood plasma makes 80–90%.

Distribution of Ambroxol from blood in fabric fast, with high concentration of active agent in lungs. Drug gets through GEB and placentary barriers, is emitted in breast milk.

Indication

Sekretolitichesky therapy at the sharp and chronic bronchopulmonary diseases connected with violations of bronchial secretion and decrease in expectoration.

Use

Children aged:

• up to 2 years: on 2.5 ml ( ¹ / ₂ a dosing spoon) 2 times a day;
• from 2 to 6 years: on 2.5 ml ( ¹ / ₂ a dosing spoon) 3 times a day;
• from 6 to 12 years: on 5 ml (1 dosing spoon) 2–3 times a day.

application Duration — no more than 14 days. If, despite use of the medicine Ambroxol 15, symptoms of a disease last more than 14 days and/or their expressiveness amplifies, consultation of the doctor is necessary.

Contraindication

Hypersensitivity to Ambroxol or other components of medicine; hereditary intolerance of fructose.

Side effects

Drug is well transferred by patients.

Gastrointestinal violations: dyspepsia, heartburn, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea.

Disturbance from the immune system, leather and hypodermic fabrics: rash, urticaria, a Quincke's disease, anaphylactic reactions (including an acute anaphylaxis), allergic reactions.

Very seldom severe damages of skin, such as Stephens's syndrome — Johnson and a Lyell's disease can arise.

Special instructions

Ambroxol 15 does not contain sugar therefore medicament can be used at patients with diabetes. does not contain alcohol. use of Ambroxol 15 with antibechic medicines leads to disturbance of an otkhozhdeniye of a phlegm against the background of reduction of cough. with care use medicament at patients with a renal and/or liver failure, at patients with a peptic ulcer of a stomach and/or duodenum.

Use during pregnancy and feeding by a breast. Use of medicine is not recommended in the I trimester of pregnancy. In II and III trimester medicament is used after careful assessment of a ratio of advantage for mother and possible risk for a fruit.

in breast milk therefore its application is not recommended during feeding by a breast.

Children. Consultation of the doctor before use of medicine for children aged till 1 year is necessary.

Ability to influence speed of response at control of vehicles or work with other mechanisms. Drug is intended for application for children.

Interaction

Ambroxol Use combined with antibiotics (amoxicillin, tsefuroksimy, erythromycin, doxycycline) promotes increase in concentration of antibiotics in tissues of lungs. use of Ambroxol 15 with antibechic medicines leads to a phlegm otkhozhdeniye complication against the background of reduction of cough.

Overdose

. in case of exceeding a dose the gastric lavage in the first 1–2 h symptomatic treatment is necessary.

Storage conditions
