"Tired of Being Alone" is the song in style a soul written by Al Green which became popular in the early seventies and remains popular to this day, being the score in popular shows, such as Nip/Tuck. Took the 11th place in Billboard Hot 100 and 7 the place in a chart of Hot Soul Singles. Billboard estimated it as song No. 12 in 1971.
In spite of the fact that this song was released on an album of 1971 "Al Green Gets Next to You", it was written at the end of 1968 and intended for release on an album of 1969 "Green Is Blues". With the first record there were problems therefore its production was postponed. The second double was changed and improved.
This song begins in tonality to a major, but is soon transformed to tonality re a major. Eto occurs twice.
