Lithium battery for electric scooter 48V 16Ah is assembled in a PCB case, the thickness of which is 2mm. The battery has an XT60 connector for connecting to the controller and a charging connector.

The battery is assembled using original Samsung cells, using an electronic BMS control board, which protects the battery from short circuits and monitors the charge level in each cell. When discharged, the board turns off the lithium battery if the discharge level of any of the cells drops to 2.5 Volts. When charging, the board turns off the battery when the voltage level on the cell reaches 4.2 Volts. The service life of a lithium-ion battery is about 4-5 years.

The operating temperature of the lithium battery is from -20 to +40 C°. The battery produces its maximum capacity at a temperature of +25 C°. At lower temperatures, the capacity and range of the e-bike are reduced. At a temperature of -10 C° the capacity is about 70% of the maximum. In storage mode, when the battery is not used for a month or more, it is recommended to store it half-discharged in a cool, dry place.
