The Album is the fifth studio album of the Swedish pop group ABBA released in 1977. On is considered more "Americanized" in comparison with previous that is confirmed both by recognitions of participants of group, and, indirectly, success of singles from an album in the American charts. In 1978 the album left in the USSR in Melodiya.
Last three records on an album are taken from the mini-musical The Girl with the Golden Hair executed by participants of group during their world tour of 1977. It, as well as movie "ABBA: The movie", it was dated for release of this album.
